James MacKay - Chairman
Born and brought up in Wick, in the highlands of Scotland, James MacKay left his homeland at a young age and proceeded to set up, acquire and manage several businesses in London. This included some of the most successful and renowned nightclubs and bars in the capital.
James has since gone on to become a successful global entrepreneur and venture capitalist respected by governments, financiers and businesses throughout the world. His contacts and business relationships extend to key government and industry representatives in Europe, Asia, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa.
Indicative of the respect and admiration he has earned in China, James is one of the few foreigners who have been invited by Chinese Government to address them at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. He has worked with some of China’s leading government representatives and agencies, organizations, companies and financial institutions.
During his career, James has helped fund and operate and/or been otherwise involved in significant ventures worldwide, including ventures associated with the music industry, sports, luxury hotels and resorts, nightclubs, gaming and casinos, real estate, advanced technology, biotechnology and healthcare, mass public projects, telecommunications and internet, environment, banking/finance, port development, energy and mining, among others.
James is currently the chairman of the board of directors of Biofield Corp. and True Product ID, Inc., companies in the MacKay Group Portfolio.
James is the founder and chairman of MacKay Group Limited, a company which, among other things, acquires and develops advanced technologies, bringing them to significant global markets.
David Bruce Hong - President
Educated in the United States and England, Mr. Hong previously helped oversee distribution, sales and business development for Asian and multinational companies in a variety of diverse industries in the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan and the United States, serving as CEO, a board member, director for the Asian-Pacific Region, director for business development, and other capacities. He helped oversee distribution, sales, promotions, and business development in the Asian-Pacific Region for such companies as 7-Eleven, KFC, Sands, 3M, Audi, Budweiser, Citibank, J. Walter Thompson, and Nestle, among others.
He was also a licensed financial controller within the insurance industry for more than 10 years, and has extensive logistic management experience. Mr. Hong is working with significant contacts within the Chinese healthcare industry, including Chinese health and other officials, hospitals, doctors, pharmaceutical and insurance companies to promote and demonstrate Biofield's technology.
Mr. Michael J. Antonoplos – Group Consultant
Michael Antonoplos brings a wealth of experience and contacts to MacKay Group with respect to funding and increasing shareholder value. A 32-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, Michael Antonoplos is a principal of a firm he started in 2000 which provides debt and equity for a variety of real estate investments. As a partner in a privately held real estate investment fund, Michael was instrumental in raising and placing over $700 million in investment opportunities. He has been involved in the development of over 7 million square feet of office, retail, and industrial properties and has negotiated lease and equity transactions valued at more than $9 billion. He was also a part of a 23 person strategic task force charged with preparing a 5-year strategic plan for a $350m international service company.
Prior to 2000, Michael Antonoplos was Senior Vice President and Managing Director for a national real estate services company where he directed all corporate advisory activities throughout the Eastern U.S. In this capacity, he advised corporate clients on administration and strategic implementation of their real estate portfolios which exceeded $7 billion in total value. Mr. Antonoplos’ clients have included, DuPont, Campbell Soup, AT&T, Xerox, Bank of America, IBM, GSK, and Fleet Bank.
Michael is working closely with the companies within MacKay Group in both their funding and U.S. sales initiatives. Through his contacts, he has introduced the companies to significant funding leads in the U.S. as well as to prominent U.S. multinational companies interested in the technologies that MacKay Group has to offer.
Mr. Antonoplos is a interim chief executive officer and director of Biofield Corp., one of the companies in the MKG Portfolio, which has developed a state-of-the-art breast cancer detection technology.
Zack Rivera - Senior Marketing Director
Zack Rivera is Senior Marketing Director of the Company. Mr. Rivera attended Drexel University as a young entrepreneur. He is the founder and current CEO of a highly successful design agency, two 1 five design group, which he established in 2003.
Mr. Rivera was chosen to serve on the Board of First Versatile Smartcard Solutions Corporation (“FVS”) because of his extensive experience in representing The Mackay Group in several international business ventures in the US, China, and the Philippines. During his visits to Asia, Mr. Rivera worked directly with FVS to create and help design the worldwide branding initiatives and to redesign and implement the FVS website and other corporate image materials, in his time spent working with the team in Manila.
He performed many of these same services for other of the Mackay Group of companies including Biofield Corp., True Product ID, Inc., and The MacKay Group. Mr. Rivera has been working with Chairman James MacKay of The Mackay Group since 2003. During his time spent with The Mackay Group, Mr. Rivera has been given the opportunity to repeatedly travel to Asia, building a network of international contacts while assisting in all business relations in Asia. His travels to Asia have helped Mr. Rivera to build a network of personal industrial and governmental contacts from a variety of fields, including the financial, medical, education, and real estate industries.
